U-Turn
When you're a Big Stuffer, it's imperative to travel with the proper tools. A camera is certainly an important one, seeing that documenting your journey, although a personal choice, is a big part of the fun. One of the most important tool in your arsenal should be the u-turn. I can't tell you how many times I've been heading towards a destination only to pass an unexpected Big Stuff worthy of a u-turn. Some say that we're limited to only two u-turns per day, but I have exceeded that quota more than once without any repercussions. Some u-turns are immediate, spotting a quick driveway to spin around in, but others could be many miles down the road like I had to do last June when I passed a rest stop in Orange, Texas after crossing the state line from Louisiana on Interstate-10. After it was too late to turn off, I spotted a huge star in the rest stop that prompted me to do a massive 6 mile u-turn. It was worth every mile, as it turned out to become the picture that led to the Big Stuff Podcast logo.
